Sunflowers and yellow roses = Sunshine!
Rachel created these beautiful pots of flowers for an event for our local Pontotoc High School a few weeks ago. Well, the balloon garland too! But today, we're talking about the flowers))
And, we have one special senior graduating this year! Our Maggie)))
Rachel and the Trendy Tree team went all out when it came to doing some decorating for the senior breakfast. The balloon garland was a perfect place for seniors, parents and friends to snap pics.
By the way, the sun in the background was painted by Ashleigh's teenage daughter, Ryleigh. Didn't she do a fantastic job! Ashleigh has been working for Trendy Tree a couple of years now and you have probably spoken with her if you called or corresponded by email.
Back to the flowers! Rachel is the floral designer at Trendy Tree. Did you know that we provide fresh flowers locally? In addition to sprucing up wreaths, or creating permanent arrangements, Rachel designs florals for happy occasions.

What a great way to take care of those "hard to buy for" people. Hey, not saying I'm one of those people, but my hubby purchased a subscription a while back!
I've already gotten a vase of fresh flowers Valentine's Day and a beautiful potted Hydrangea for Easter!
I can't wait to see what Mother's Day will bring from Trendy Tree!
Back to the sunflower and roses....I keep getting carried away!
Bold beautiful golden sunflowers and yellow delicate roses made this monochromatic color scheme just perfect for the occasion.

The lush greenery just makes the beautiful shades yellow stand out. Rachael created smaller arrangements for tables using the same flowers. Sorry, but I failed to get images of those flowers.
When the school bell rang and kids went to class, parents and grandparents all went about their separate ways. The flowers did not go to waste!
Some of the smaller table arrangements were given to parents or teachers and Rachel and Carrie distributed the others to some of the local nursing homes spreading the sunshine all around!

Everyone loves fresh flowers and typically they are not the sort of thing that folks spend money on for themselves. We should! But we don't.
But we sure can enjoy them when someone else send them to us))))
