The older I get, the more I look for easy recipes! My mom used to make caramel corn and popcorn balls.
The popcorn balls from yesteryear that I remember usually were made from molasses and always resulted in either a burned tongue or fingers!
This recipe is easy! To see the ingredients and instructions, please visit my personal blog, jeanniepence.com.

You know you can decorate with popcorn too. It's not particularly easy, but in years past I have strung popcorn on a string to make garland. It's messy and takes a long time, but it was a fun project.
Here's some faux plastic popcorn balls that we have in stock. Much easier to decorate with!
These faux popcorn balls are big at 4.5" and look very real! They even have a little "cranberries" that add a bit of color. They would make a great addition to your old fashioned Christmas theme. Blends perfectly with those precious paper garlands that children make.
