Nick's Merry Christmas Wreath Tutorial

Nick's Merry Christmas Wreath Tutorial

merry christmas wreath with sweater print sign

Nick Sanders of 39 County Home, did a great wreath tutorial on the Trendy Tree Facebook page yesterday. Thank you Nick!

The wreath turned out great. Beautiful classic colors of natural, red, green and gold. Plaid ribbons and holly with sparkling touches of gold. Even a bit of extra gold with the metallic ball wreath form.

Here's the video of the Facebook live where Nick shows you step by step how to create this beautiful wreath.

Right now, there are a few of the supply kits left and you can get those at Trendy Tree. Nick's Merry Christmas Kit

The kit features a "sweater knit" style printed Merry Christmas sign. The sign has prancing reindeer on each side and printed on a plank style MDF material.

The kit contains three rolls of mesh, 4 rolls of ribbon, a sign and wreath form. This is everything that Nick used, except for a couple of extra ribbons he added to his bow. The solid red and natural with red, green and gold polka dots were the extras that Nick added to his bow.

Nick used a Bowdabra for making his bow. It's easy to use and you can pick one up on Amazon. I've used the Bowdabra many times and finally mounted it to a board which made it much more stable and stopped it from slipping around.

Here's that blog post if you would like to see how I did it. Well....I should say how my hubby did it))) But, it was my idea)))

Bowdabra Slip Around? We have a Fix!

Remember, that even when Nick's Merry Christmas Kit sells out, you can still follow the basic directions and choose from other styles of mesh, ribbons and signs.

Nick has this wreath listed in his 39 County Home Etsy shop. And if you will hurry, you might still catch it available! If not, shop around, he has many more wreaths to choose from!

Be sure to visit Nick's Facebook page too! Drop in and say hello. Tell him that Trendy Tree sent you!
