Carrie and Taalor brought the holiday cheer early with their Mint Ho Ho Ho Wreath—a fun and festive Christmas in July project! Carrie and Taalor cut their mesh into 20" strips, rolled the edges slightly, and gathered each strip through the center using the “kruffle” (curl/ruffle) technique. They placed two kruffles into each twist on the wreath form to create a full base.
Ribbon strips were cut to 13" and finished with angled or dove-tail ends. Each ribbon cluster—made with one of each ribbon style—was placed into an open twist and secured.
To attach the Trendy Tree exclusive sign (which doesn’t come pre-punched), they added holes either top and bottom and used chenille stems to secure it to the frame.
A bow was added last, with its placement based on where the sign was positioned. Simple, fun, and easy to customize—make it your own!
