Canary Ornament

18135 Old World Christmas

 Dimensions: 2.75 X 3 X 4.25 (HxLxW)

The canary is a perching songbird in the finch family. The canary is an expression for great desire in life, shown in the birds singing and flying. However, the spirit dwindles when caged. The lesson learned from the canary is to always soar and sing!

This traditional and beautiful glass ornament was carefully mouth-blown into a finely crafted mold. Then a hot solution of liquid silver was poured inside. Finally, it was delicately hand-painted and glittered for you to enjoy and cherish as a holiday heirloom!
