Green Jay Ornament Old World Christmas 18100

A colorful green jay for the birdwatcher, the Texas native, or anyone who loves bright tropical birds.

This colorful tropical bird is found mostly in southern Texas, Mexico and South America. Similar in size to a blue jay, the green jay is a bit shorter and more rounded and has a large vocal repertoire. Birds are symbols of happiness and joy, so they are regarded as a necessity on the Christmas tree.

This traditional and beautiful glass ornament was carefully mouth-blown into a finely crafted mold. Then a hot solution of liquid silver was poured inside. Finally, it was delicately hand-painted and glittered for you to enjoy and cherish as a holiday heirloom!
