Hot Glue Pan

Hot Glue Pan

When Carrie and Rachel did a Facebook Live a few weeks ago, there were many questions about a hot glue pan. Hot glue is a "hot mess" to work with! All of us have been burned more times than we care to remember with hot glue guns. But when you need small amount of glue, the hot glue guns work well....they are just hot! For the floral wreaths that they made in this video, they used an inexpensive electric skillet and hot glue chips. This worked well and once the project was over, you just let the glue cool down and re-harden, put the lid on it and reheat for the next project. The skillet we had was a 12" size and the least expensive we could find. It was around $20. But, while I was surfing Target today, I saw a 7" electric skillet that I thought would be even more handy! And it was only $14 and some change. Here's an image: I don't know if this is something that Target carries in the store, or if it's an online only type of purchase, but there is a link in the image if you're interested. It sure seemed like the perfect size to me))) We haven't tried this skillet, but the ad does say adjustable temperature, so it would be an experiment for sure. Once the glue is melted it needs to stay warm and not too hot. If you have one and have used it for hot glue, let us know! We'd love to hear from you)) Save Save Save Save
