Easter Bouquet from The Twig - A Branch of Trendy Tree

easter bouquet What could be more beautiful than an Easter bouquet delivered by your very own special Easter bunny! This beautiful flower arrangement was created by Rachel at The Twig - A Branch of Trendy Tree. The Trendy Tree store (The Twig) is closed right now because of the Coronavirus, but Rachel is inside working to create beautiful items for spring and summer. While she's there, she can put a fresh flower arrangement together for you and provide local delivery. The Trendy Tree warehouse is always closed to the public and Carrie and David are working behind those closed doors getting orders out. This is a difficult time for everyone, so if you or someone you know and love needs some cheering up....send them a beautiful flower arrangement from The Twig - A Branch of Trendy Tree!

Tulips

parrot tulip, tulips, hydrangea The tulips in my Easter bouquet are just beautiful! Subtle shades of pink and luscious greens. The shaggy darker pink tulip is called a Parrot Tulip. This was my first time to see this gorgeous flower. A white hydrangea is embedded deep into the arrangement adding a pretty background for the other colors.

Gerbera Daisy

gerbera daisy, gerber daisy, Look at the beautiful dark pink Gerbera daisy. Another favorite flower for any kind of bouquet. Now, lets be honest.....do you call it Gerbera daisy or "Gerber" daisy like the baby food? I guess it depends on whether you are a real horticulturist or someone like me who just likes pretty flowers)))

Roses

An Easter bouquet just wouldn't be complete without some roses. And it only takes a few to make a stunning arrangement. You don't have to have two dozen! The pale pink roses have just a little touch of yellow on the edges. With a digital camera, the edges may appear to be aging a little, but its really just the faint yellow coloring around the edges. This may be a Peace rose, but don't hold me to that! And isn't that the perfect name for a rose for an Easter bouquet, especially this time of the year during the COVID-19 crisis.

How to Purchase

Caring for Fresh Flower Bouquets

Tips according to J. Schwanke: Add more water to your flowers as needed, using water mixed with flower food. Only change water if it becomes cloudy or smells. Do not add bleach to water. Only use professional flower food. Clear soda is not beneficial, it does not contain the right kind of sugar. Crystal Clear Universal Premium Flower Care Packets (from Amazon)A\ And just as a side note, we've met J. Schwanke and watched him work his magic several times at the Dallas Market Center. He is so talented and really such a nice guy! You can learn a lot from his uBloom website for free! He has several publications too. One of my favorites is listed below.

Happy Easter

This Easter will be a little different for all of us. No egg hunts, no big family dinners. We all have to follow the safely guidelines and protect our health. Egg hunts had already become a thing of the past for us since the grandchildren have just about all grown up. In fact, our typical egg hunt with them through the years, has been to hunt real colored eggs, then have a pitching contest to see who could the the trees in the backyard with the most eggs. Strange, but true. Each family has it's own little weird traditions and we're no different from anyone else)) So, the hubby and I will have our Easter dinner for two and I'll enjoy my beautiful Easter bouquet. Heck, I may color some Easter eggs anyway!
