While browsing on Pinterest today looking for Easter Egg ideas.....I thought....why not consult my old 1950's Betty Crocker Picture Cook Book and see what Betty had to suggest about Easter Eggs......the good old days remember? Colorful Gelatin Easter Eggs

Save egg shells where only the tip has been broken away when the egg was removed. Fill thoroughly dried shells with fruit-flavored gelatin in different colors.

Set filled egg shells in muffin cups to chill until gelatin is firm. Break away shells. Serve in little nests of coconut on large chop plate.

Okay, back to my browsing on Pinterest.....I'm thinking easssyyyyy Easter egg decorating......maybe with markers.....yes...plain white eggs.....and markers for the grandchildren.......BINGO!
