Here's a new Easter wreath we did a couple of weeks ago. It's very bright and colorful and really pretty simple to make!
Supplies:
XX750427 24" White Pencil Wreath
71000 Striped Bunny Hat
71001 Bunny Legs
XB946-01 21" White Snowball Mesh
RG0132807 1.5" Fuchsia White Vertical Stripe Ribbon
RG1468JH 1.5" Turquoise Plants Ribbon
RG1604M6 2.5" Triple Stripe Ribbon
RG135829 2.5" Yellow Quatrefoil Ribbon
Summary
We made this wreath using the 21" Snowball mesh in a pouf technique. Poufs were 14" and we worked around the outer then, then up to the inner ring.
The four ribbons were cut into 12-13" length strips and the ends were finished off with a chevron cut. A ribbon cluster was made with each of the four ribbons and ribbon clusters placed in each twist around the wreath.
We use a 24" x 36" self healing
Omnigrid Cutting Mat and a
45mm Omnigrid Rotary Cutter (these are available at Amazon and we have included our affiliate links.)
The hat was lightly stuffed with tissue paper and secured to the wreath from using a safety pin through the back of hat. A chenille stem was slipped under the safety pin and the hat secure to the work wreath frame.
The bunny legs were secured with zip ties or you could also slip safety pins through the band portion of the legs and secure with chenille stems or zip ties to the work wreath frame. The legs are wired so you can shape them as desired.
We took some of the remaining ribbon and made a large bow and positioned it between the hat and legs.
