Plum Pudding, the famous and popular English desert, dates to the 17th century. Traditionally each family member takes a turn stirring the pudding in a clockwise direction with eyes closed, which entitles them to make a wish. Plum Pudding is served with great ceremony with a sprig of holly and flaming brandy.
