Luna, the Crescent shape, is an ancient symbol for women. So outhouses had a "moon" cut into the door to mark the ladies side, while the men's side had a "sun." As time passed, the men''s privies fell into disrepair and eventually were abandoned, while the better kept women's outhouses remained.

This traditional and beautiful glass ornament was carefully mouth-blown into a finely crafted mold. Then a hot solution of liquid silver was poured inside. Finally, it was delicately hand-painted and glittered for you to enjoy and cherish as a holiday heirloom!
