"And laying a finger aside of his nose....." This whimsical Santa ornament was inspired by the popular poem, "A Visit from St. Nicholas" by Clement Moore. Popularized by Moore and other writers in the 19th century, Santa Claus, became the jolly man clad in red - the folk hero all children dream about on Christmas Eve.
