The fish has long been a symbol of Christ and of Christ''s blessings on the world. Fish were fed to the masses and eaten by Christ and his disciples after his resurrection. For many Christians, the fish represents a profession of faith in the divinity and is often a symbol of the challenge Christ put to his followers. "Follow me and I will make you fishers of men." In many religions of the world, the fish is also a symbol of prosperity.
