Today while reading our local community paper, The Pontotoc Progress, which is published weekly, there was an article in the magazine insert about a border collier from South Carolina.
The article said that "Chaser" a border collie in Spartanburg, knows the names of 1,022 different items, believed to be the largest vocabulary for any dog. His owner, John W. Pilley, a psychologist, spent four to five hours a day teaching the pooch the names of hundreds of toys, which she can fetch by name..........next week I'm sending my grand kids over for training.....they can't find anything.
