Halloween Centerpiece

halloween-chandelier-no-musical If you've been following the Blog, you'll note that we created this Halloween chandelier using a Copper Work Wreath, Deco Paper Mesh, Ribbon, RAZ LED lights. Click here or on the image above to see the Blog post on creating the chandelier. We also have a short video demonstrating the chandelier. Today we turned it into a Halloween centerpiece. halloween-centerpiece-supplies We took the wreath and just flipped it over, tucking the bow and ribbon streams out of the way. halloween-centerpiece-candle-kitty-litter We wanted to use a clear glass Hurricane as a candle holder, but our 6" pillar candle had to be supported by something so it would show at the top of the Hurricane. So we used kitty litter.....the least expensive item we could find to serve the purpose. It's a little dusty when pouring, but not a real problem. Then then Hurricane with the candle was just set over the center of the wreath which was a perfect fit. halloween-centerpiece-ready-for-spider Next we added some RAZ LED lights. These are purple and on a tiny wire, the battery pack is operated by 3 AA batteries and the pack tucked easily to the inside of the wreath out of the way. These lights are available in clear, purple, orange and multicolor and a couple different lengths. They even have different settings. halloween-centerpiece-spider Next we wanted to make the centerpiece a little more spooky so we added this great Skull Spider that just came in a few days ago. It's really large at about 20" in width, Styrofoam head and purple eyes. halloween-centerpiece-spider-closeup-2 halloween-centerpiece-spider-closeup halloween-centerpiece-48-inch-table The overall centerpiece measured about 28" in width. In this photo is is sitting on a 48" table which gives you an idea of the size.halloween-centerpiece Happy Halloween!
