More on the tree farm....
A few years ago my husband and I decided we needed a "retirement project." We started a small "choose and cut" Christmas tree farm. We are located in the Northeastern part of Mississippi, about 30 min from Tupelo and 30 min from Oxford. Our trees are growing and won't be ready for harvesting for a couple more years. We grow Leyland Cypress and Carolina Sapphires.
Our goal is to have a place that families can come to choose and cut their own quality tree and have a great time doing so!Our daughter, son-in-law and 3 grandchildren (one is just a baby right now) all participate in the work and fun on the tree farm. It takes the whole family being involved in such a project to be a success and right now it looks like we're headed in the right direction!
We decided to try our hand at selling Christmas ornaments and decorations online while the trees are growing and our sales have exceeded our expectations. We strive to provide excellent customer service.....with that touch of Southern hospitality. Our customers have come from across the United States to around the world and the experience has just been heartwarming. So many times customers share their stories about the special ornaments they are collecting and this just takes an ordinary sale and turns it into special connection. We are happy to be a part of these experiences.
